Yes — and not in the fine-print way. No ads, no trackers, no analytics SDKs, no selling data, and nobody at Matiworks reads your household's content unless you ask us to help with a specific problem. Your data is stored encrypted in Mumbai, India (ap-south-1) and stays in your region. When you delete it, it's gone within 30 days, backups included. The full detail is in our privacy policy — it's short and readable on purpose.

Yes. Everything — the list, the plan, the pantry — works in a basement supermarket with no signal. Changes sync to the rest of the household the moment you're back online. Your phone always has the full picture.

One lane per person, one column per day. A solid dot is a one-off, a hollow ring is an occurrence of something that repeats, and a capsule is a plan that spans days — a trip, say. You can page three months back and twelve forward. Anything that repeats, you enter once: a weekly class keeps showing up on its own, with an end date if it has one.

Everyone at home, once — when you create it, with the time written in each person's own timezone. It's the plan that's announced, not every occurrence, so a weekly class doesn't buzz anyone fifty-two times. And only real news goes out: move something and people hear about it, rename it and they don't.

No. No location tracking, no check-ins, no map — and none planned. Tend only ever knows what someone said they're committed to, which isn't the same thing: a virtual class, a treadmill run and a work call all happen at home. You can optionally mark a plan as being out, and only then does the app phrase it that way. Leave it unset and every screen stays neutral — "Aarav has online class", never "Aarav is out".

Honest answer: Tend is iPhone-first today, with iPad, Mac and Apple Watch alongside. A web companion is planned, so anyone in the household on any device can see and add. Android isn't on the near-term roadmap — we'd rather do one platform properly than two halfway. If Android matters to your home, tell us; it genuinely shapes what we build next.

One person sets up the household and sends the others an invite link with a short code. Opening it joins them to the same shared memory — same list, same plan, same pantry. Invites are for people you actually live with; each one grants access to everything the household shares.

Beta households use Tend free. At launch there'll be one honest price for the whole household — no per-seat math, no ad-supported tier, because there are no ads. Beta households will hear the price from us first.

No. There's no scoreboard, no chore wheel, no "who did more" chart — keeping score is how resentment gets a dashboard. Tend shares the remembering: what's for dinner, what's running low, what's coming up. The doing sorts itself out once everyone can see the same picture.

From the app: Settings → Household → Delete. Or email admin@matiworks.com from your account address. Either way, everything is removed — backups included — within 30 days. No exit interview, no retention offer.
